Financial information is the key to change.

Unfortunately, for most of us, basic financial information is not taught in schools. We live in a country that continues to pass out diplomas to people who lack healthy financial skills, creating a society not prepared to handle the financial ups and downs of everyday living. The road to financial freedom is paved with information; join me on my journey.

A Real Ball and Chain: Debt

Debt creates a lack of freedom and you become chained to your creditors.  Every step that you take and every move that you make your debt is right behind you; growing!  Do you stay on the same road or do you make a detour and change your life?  If you are not living debt-free then join me on my journey to becoming debt-free and financially independent.  Create the life that you and your family deserve.

Today is the day to start taking charge of your money.  Stop what you are doing and get a pen and paper, - now write down the life that you want/deserve.  What are the steps that "you" need to take to create that life?  What is preventing "you" from getting started? Yesterday is Gone;  Tomorrow is too Far Away;  - but -Today is a new Beginning!

No amount is to small; a penny, a nickel, a dime, a quarter, or a dollar.  The key is getting into the habit of saving and taking charge of your finances.  Remember it takes 21 times of doing something before it becomes a habit.

The Stress of Debt - vs - Becoming Debt Free

Is living with debt less frightening than facing your debt head on? Facing debt head on can be a very scary process. Seeing the actual dollar amount of your debt in black and white can be overwhelming. I know the feeling from personal experience.

When my journey began I had more debt than income so I can feel your stress. I had my power turned off for non-payment. I needed new tires for my car and my bank account was empty. I have lived with the stress of bill collectors calling my home (that was the worse feeling).

But you know what? You just have to suck it up and face the chaos. Once you decide to take charge of your finances you are on your way to becoming debt free. My life chanced when I realized that I was the boss of my money, and that I had the power to become debt free. You also have the power: Use it!

A Magic Wand

I published my book “Sick and Tired of Being Broke” in March of this year. For the past four or five years I have been talking to anyone that would listen to me about the importance of saving money and getting out of debt. I spent most of my adult life living paycheck to paycheck. Once I learned to take charge of my finances I wanted to shout "the secret" from the roof tops. I had such a sense of relief and freedom.

It felt so good to be debt free that I wanted everyone around me to feel the same joy. My journey to share this powerful information with as many people as possible began. If only I had a magic wand that I could wave to make people realize that we all have the power to live debt free and to create wealth!

If you do not do it for yourself then do it for your children.
