Financial information is the key to change.

Unfortunately, for most of us, basic financial information is not taught in schools. We live in a country that continues to pass out diplomas to people who lack healthy financial skills, creating a society not prepared to handle the financial ups and downs of everyday living. The road to financial freedom is paved with information; join me on my journey.

Starting an Emergency Fund

Building a major emergency fund is extremely important in case of a job loss, illness, or any situation that interrupts your income or drastically increases your expenses. A loss of income will not put a stop to your mortgage payment, car note, or other financial responsibilities.

The first step is to “open” a savings account, get a coin jar, a box in the corner, or a cookie jar. I don’t care how you get started! Just get started! As I stated before I started with .25 cents. So, no more excuses, no delays, no waiting until tomorrow, you have no more time to think about it.

Yesterday is Gone, Tomorrow is Too Far Away, but Today is Available.
