Financial information is the key to change.

Unfortunately, for most of us, basic financial information is not taught in schools. We live in a country that continues to pass out diplomas to people who lack healthy financial skills, creating a society not prepared to handle the financial ups and downs of everyday living. The road to financial freedom is paved with information; join me on my journey.

CREDIT: Friend or Foe?

Are your credit cards helping or hurting your financial situation. For most people credit card dependency is out of control and creating chaos.  If your credit card use is creating chaos - then put away your cards and stop creating new debt/problems.

To avoid running to a loan company or digging out your credit cards you will need to build an emergency fund.  I know that it will be difficult, but if you are trapped in a hole the only chance of getting out is to - Stop Digging.  It takes work but it is possible to build an emergency fund; I know, overwhelmed with debt I started with 0.25 cents, determination, and a plan.  I was a divorced mother with two kids working at the
Big K!

I know that you can take charge of our finances because I watch you everyday spending money. So, cut back on the fast food; soft drinks, smoking, dinners out, having your nails done, trips to the mall, your favorite cookies, those candy bars in the bottom of your purse, put back the blue hair, the new outfit, the magazines with Kim K on the cover, the double shot of vodka and cranberry, that $4.00 bag of chips, skip the drive-thru for a day or two, and no you cannot afford to treat your friends to dinner! And you with the $5.00 cup of coffee put it down and walk away.

No more excuses claiming that money is too tight; remember I see you!  If you can only afford to pay yourself a quarter, then pay yourself a quarter.  I do not care if you can only afford a penny; then pay yourself a penny.  The key to your success will be to keep paying yourself until your pennies or quarters become dollars.  Get a jar and start tossing in your change and email me to order a copy of my book!  Change starts today with you.
